Lauren has deep roots in Sonoma County, but has traveled to many edges of the world including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica and more! Needless to say she has a love for immersing herself in other cultures. Lauren attributes much of her love for travel and culture to her first trip abroad which was through a Rotary Exchange trip to Kagoshima, Japan when she was 16 years old. After graduating from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Human Services; and a minor in Global Social Entrepreneurship, Lauren returned back to Sonoma County. Lauren is pursuing her master’s in Public Administration from Sonoma State University while working full time with Tomorrow's Leaders Today, which now operates as a program of the well-known non-profit, Social Advocates for Youth.
